Bexleyheath & Belvedere Hockey Club - BBHC Family-friendly hockey club based in Bexley (Erith-Welling). We have 6 adult teams for all abilities playing in Kent leagues, Colts ages 6+ on Sundays

Our 3 ladies teams play in Kent leagues. The men's section play in Kent, Men's 1st XI play in the Kent/Sussex region league. We also have "BBHC Social Club" on Facebook (closed user group) for sharing info with club members -

BBHC proudly welcomes Tilda between the goalposts for this season!

After a year out with a spine injury, Tilda joins us with over 8 years of exp and she’s ready to smash the season in the pads!!

Tilda’s favourite thing about being a goalie is defending short corners! She’s vocal on the pitch and you’ll find her with a post game pint of Guinness and a big smile on her face!

First game of the 2026/2027 season and she was already defending a P Flick and got the save!

Recently, 25 coaches from Cohort 9 graduated from England Hockey’s Advanced Coach Programme at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. Pictured above, the group came together to celebrate and reflect on two years of deep learning and development, focussing on becoming more self‑aware, more player‑centred, and more creative in designing effective coaching environments.

Congratulations Dan!!

Completing the ACP is no small achievement. It’s a commitment to continuous learning, honest self‑reflection, and raising the bar for the players you work with. Dan has embraced all of this in challenging himself, growing his practice, and strengthening his impact on those he coaches.

We look forward to seeing him continue his coaching journey, inspiring and developing not only BBHC players, but players across our sport. His dedication makes our club stronger, our environment richer, and our hockey community better.

WE’RE BACK BABY!

🏑🍻 FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON 🤝 CLUBHOUSE SOCIAL! 🍻🏑

The hockey is back, and after the final whistle we’d love to see everyone back at the clubhouse to kick off the season properly.

Whether we’ve come away with 3 points, 1 point, or just a few stories to tell, there’s no better way to start the season than catching up with teammates, meeting new faces, and enjoying a well-earned drink together.

👋 Hi Everyone

Players needed for Team Bexley at this year's *London Youth Games*🏑🥇

If you are in school years 7, 8 or 9, we will be running training on Tuesday evenings in June to select a team to represent Bexley in a 7-aside hockey tournament that is held at the Olympic park on Sunday 5th July (girls tournament, the boys is on the Saturday)

Training starts after half-term on Tuesday 2nd June at Erith 6 til 7.30pm

To play for Bexley you have to go to school or live in Bexley borough but you are very welcome to come train with us if you're Greenwich or Dartford based (we just can't pick you for the team on the 5th July).

We all talk fondly of LYG because it's a great experience.

If you're up for it - let us know and see you on the 2nd
