Proof that the Scale Doesn’t Matter!
When Darla first joined us 6 months ago, she was gearing up for some HUGE challenges!
We’re talking multiple 10km races, a 50km charity run,
and climbing to Everest Base Camp! She knew she needed strength to crush them.
Like so many women starting out, her main focus was on the number on the weighing scale…
We shifted her focus from body weight, to building lean muscle mass and improving physical performance as these were what were going to support her training and enable her to take on all her challenges.
While the number on the scale might not have changed much, her body COMPLETELY changed!
She’s seen significant increases in; Body composition, Strength, Speed, Power and Endurance.
She didn’t just complete her goals; she SMASHED them and is now signed up for two more half marathons this year.
But the real win? How much better she feels every single day. She’s got improved energy levels, more balanced hormones, an incredible boost in confidence, and she’s getting tons of compliments from friends and family.
And that’s what we really want to highlight from Darla’s story. Strong is the new skinny!
