I don’t think people talk about this enough. 🧠

Like… we struggle in adulthood with anxiety, people pleasing, trust issues, emotional outbursts, self-sabotage, and we just think that’s who we are. 😮‍💨

But what if I told you most of that was wired into your brain before you even hit teenage years?

The amount of things that get programmed into your nervous system during childhood would honestly surprise you. 🫠

The way you react when someone goes quiet on you. The way you shrink in certain rooms. The way you give too much and then feel resentful. The way you self-destruct right when things start going good.

That’s not your personality babe. That’s survival mode.

Your brain literally built itself around keeping you safe in an environment that felt unsafe. And now you’re an adult trying to feel free… with a brain still running old protection software. 😅

💊 “Medicating a brain you’ve never mapped is like fixing a car with your eyes closed.”

I’m not anti-medication. I want to be clear about that.

But here’s what I see constantly: people prescribed stimulants for ADHD whose brain scan shows something completely different underneath.

Anxiety presenting as inattention. Trauma patterns disguised as hyperactivity. Sleep disorders that look identical to ADHD on a symptom checklist.

A qEEG doesn’t replace your doctor. But it gives your doctor something they’ve never had before: a map.

Did anyone actually look at your brain before putting you on medication?
Most ADHD diagnoses are based on questionnaires and symptom checklists, which are helpful, but they don’t show you what’s actually happening inside your brain.
