We do fun, creative hands on activities that help children reconnect with nature and their wild side. Activities include: fire-lighting, shelter building, storytelling, animal care and bush-cooking. Through outdoor and creative activities we are hoping to raise a generation that is aware of who they are, mindful of nature and has imaginative minds. As kids spend more and more time inside and don’t
have much space in the city to be in nature, Wild Child wants to be a place where they reconnect with the earth and their wild side. As schools are focussed more and more on academic skills, the club intends to give children an opportunity to learn hands-on skills and use their imagination. We believe that children have a unique sense of wonder, curiosity and unashamedness. The club wants to encourage these things and create a safe space where this can come to the forefront.
