After an absence of 31 years "THE FOOTBALL MAGAZINE" is back to take its rightful place as the unique publication dedicated to the Cypriot Football League. Recognizing that Cypriots are very proud of the standard of community football provided the initial inspiration for our dramatic re-launch. We responded to request from devotees who have kept past issues as mementoes of a golden age and dedicated to give a whole new generation of fans the opportunity to treasure new copies of “THE FOOTBALL MAGAZINE”. We believe one of the most important milestones in the history of the Cypriot Community in the United Kingdom was the establishment of KOPA Football League in 1975. After 38 years KOPA League has developed to become one of the most improved football leagues in LFA but has also established a reputation in many cup competitions…last year two of our teams have played in FA Carlsberg Challenge Cup and reached the final stages. Of course, in order to ensure long term success we need continued support from the community in terms of collective effort to encourage young people to pursue an interest in local football. With 20 local teams you have the chance to get involved in your area!
