Today our Buggy Runners took to the top of the park to find some shaded loops to keep cooler in the heat. Everyone worked super hard and our little ones were fantastic cheering mummy on!

These sessions are so important for mums to keep active and give you a sense of freedom whist in the midst of those early months of being a mum. Our sessions are designed that you do not need to run with the buggy, allowing you to focus on your health and fitness postpartum, in a safe and welcoming environment.

Your first session is free, so do come and join us. We meet every Tuesday, 10:15am by the Bandstand, Greenwich Park.

Our Annual Summer Picnic at Buggy Runners today was such a delight. We welcomed three new mums and babies to our session, where everyone worked super hard on our speedy loops down by the Queens House. We followed the session with a chatty walk up to the Pavilion Cafe where we continued the chat over some picnic snacks and ice-cold drinks.

Thank you to all our mums and dads for your contribution to the picnic, it was lovely to have this special time all together. 💜

We are here to support parents, giving them the opportunity to enjoy running whilst caring for your little ones.

Our sessions are designed that you do not need to run with the buggy, they allow you to return to fitness slowly and safely at your pace and in your own time. All our runners are at different stages and we have options for all abilities.

And, finally we finish our sessions at one of our parks cafes where we get to know each other more, chat, feed and change babies… over cake & coffee! 💜

We meet every Tuesday 10:15am by the Bandstand in Greenwich Park. First session is FREE just turn up. Any questions at all, please do send us a DM.

Buggy Runners are a supportive, social fitness group that allow you to keep active with your baby.

There are huge benefits of being active when you have a baby. It’s a great way to spend time together and can be one of the few times you get out and have some time for you. It not only benefits your physical health, helping you to be fitter and stronger but also your mental health, improving your mood, giving more energy to tackle all the challenges parenting throws at us.

Our sessions are designed to allow you to return to fitness whilst caring for your little one. We recommend you feel ready to return to running and have had your six week check. This may be longer for mums after a caesarean.

The classes are an hour long and will incorporate power walking/light to medium running along with low and high resistance exercises.

We finish our sessions at one of Greenwich Parks cafes where we get to know each other more, chat, feed and change babies… over cake & coffee! 💜

Greenwich Runners are excited to celebrate National Walking Month this May by encouraging everyone to get up and get walking. Walking benefits not only physical health but mental well-being whilst enjoying the fresh air outdoors.

To kick off National Walking Month we have our monthly Walk & Talk this Sunday 5th in Greenwich Park, a chance to chat with others within our community, keep active and explore the wonderful park we have on our doorstep.

Everyone is welcome, you don’t need to be a runner, please feel free to bring family members, friends and dogs. Meet Coach Helen 9am at the main bottom gates of the park, followed by a drink in one of the parks cafes.

Exciting news 🤩 … we have a new Postnatal Reformer class starting today 14:15 with Greenwich Wellness, Fitness and Pilates

These are small intimate classes (suitable for beginners). Strengthen your core muscles after having a baby in a safe and welcoming environment with our experienced postnatal specialists.

You are welcome to attend the class with or without your baby, they can lie next to you.
