Tower classes coming to Curve 🙌

Regulars may have noticed some changes at the studio with some new “Towers” appearing.
People often ask me about the different pieces of equipment in the studio but up until now I have only been able to use the Tower with private clients but not anymore as we are exited to being a new schedule of tower classes to Curve.

Like the reformer it uses springs as resistance to add load/support etc so expect lots of spinal articulation, deep core work, leg and hip mobility and more ways to feel and understand pilates and the benefits it brings.

Don’t worry reformer classes will still be running alongside but just more ways to feel Pilates so win, win!

✨Reformer classes
Maximum of 5 people, superb highly trained teachers, classes at lunchtimes, evenings and weekends. These sessions are there for you to continue to grow your practice and really understand the pilates principles.
Beginners welcome.
Intro offer 3 classes for ÂŁ55 (new clients only)

✨Private 121’s
These are all held with Stacey who is fully comprehensively on all the pilates apparatus, she will create a bespoke program depending on your needs, this maybe for medical reasons or sports related.

✨Mat classes
These wonderful classes are not held at the studio but in 2 venues in SE1, these are fun, focussed classes getting our bodies moving and working hard at the same time! Beginners welcome.

Curve Pilates.

At Curve we really think Pilates is amazing, it is not just a set of exercises, it is a whole way of moving.

We follow all the pilates principles in our classes, creating a a whole body session, helping to strengthen your core, improve your flexibility, release tension and generally get your body moving better.

Pilates is about focus and control, it is about finding your own imbalances and working to improve them.

It isn’t a quick fix, there is no such thing a Pilates body but there is someone who does Pilates regularly and feels taller, stronger, more balanced and more in control.

Pregnancy Reformer - Thursdays 5.30pm

Pregnancy is a very special time but it is also a demanding one. In our classes we will get your moving in low impact way but with the help of the resistance of the equipment to strengthen, release tension, improve flexibility, introduce breathing and pelvic floor work and generally feel some control in your body. Only teachers who are qualified to teach pre-natal will take this class.

Classes are suitable from 18 weeks up until the baby arrives. As your body can change week to week we will adapt to each individuals needs, expect to be challenged but in controlled focused way.

So we are only open on Saturdays for both reformer and mat classes so please join us if you need your Pilates fix!
