Huge congrats! 🙌

An enormous well done to Leaya who won the 10U LTA Lexus National Tour girls singles event at Bradfield Tennis Centre during the May half term! Leaya’s performances leading up to the final were fantastic, particularly so as she was the youngest competitor in the draw and the weather conditions were rather extreme that week. Excellent resilience and fighting spirit as always.

A big well done to Yixuan and Amelie who also took part in this event and did fantastically over the week. We hope you all enjoyed the experience!

Mini Masters Circuit Leaderboard Update 🎾

There hasn’t been movement in the top 3 for the 8U players this week, though some 9U action over the past week has meant that there has been change in those leaderboards! Congratulations to everyone who has been competing and managed to secure some points towards the Mini Masters Circuit 2026. As we head closer to the Masters Finals Day, we look forward to seeing more players taking part in qualifying competitions!

A reminder of the way points are awarded: Players earn 5 points for every match played and 20 points for every match won. These points accumulate across the 20 qualifying tournaments scheduled through July. At the end of the circuit, the top seven boys and top seven girls in each age group will earn an automatic spot in the prestigious Masters Finals Day, held on 25th July 2026 at Georgians Tennis Club.

This circuit, held in partnership with Cooper Events and Yonex, focuses on providing a motivating and development-focused competition for our youngest Middlesex County registered players.

Congratulations! 👏

It’s been a few weeks since the LTA Lexus National Tour events that took place around the country, but we wanted to look back and congratulate players on their achievements at these events.

A huge well done to Henry on the performances that lead him to winning the Lexus Grass Court Championships 11U boys singles in Frinton. Henry and partner Maxime, also ended up as finalists in the doubles event, superb news! Well done both and all the best on upcoming competitions 💪

Mini Masters Circuit Leaderboard Update 🎾

The leaderboards have been updated for the week with only a small amount of movement in the top 3 after last weekend’s 8U and 9U tournaments. With a 9U event happening tomorrow, the top places may well change again! Do check the full leaderboards for changes beyond the top 3 for each age groups.

Players earn 5 points for every match played and 20 points for every match won. These points accumulate across the 20 qualifying tournaments scheduled through July. Middlesex Tennis congratulates Harriet Dart on a determined first-round victory at the HSBC Championships at Queen's Club.

Harriet (from Middlesex) advanced to the second round after a hard-fought match against world number 35 Liudmila Samsonova, securing a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win in two hours and 48 minutes. After losing her serve in the final game of the opening set, Dart produced a resilient performance to level the match. In the deciding set, she converted three of eight break point opportunities to seal the victory.

Dart progresses to the second round, where she will face fourth seed Belinda Bencic.

Let’s go Harriet! 💪

Super show by the 10U boys & girls teams at this weekend's LTA CountyCup South Area Finals.

The boys team travelled to Southampton and had some impressive wins over Somerset (6-0), Norfolk (5-1), Berkshire (5-1) and Surrey (6-0) to become champions.

The girls team travelled to Gloucester and had some great wins over Wiltshire (5-1), Avon (6-0) and Kent (4-2) but a draw with Surrey (3-3) and subsequent shoot-put meant they finished as runner-up.

Great performances by both teams, and superb teamwork representing the county at both events. We’re all massively proud of you (and hope you’re all proud of yourselves too)!
