Leyton Ju Jitsu Club Training in traditional Ju Jitsu in East London, part of the Connelly Ju Jitsu Federation. Sensei Blackett has over 30 years Martial Arts experience.

Training: Monday- Juniors 6.30 - 7.30, Seniors 7.30 - 9.30
Thursdays- Seniors 7.30 - 9.30
Beginners Welcome! Ju Jitsu incorporates strikes, kicks, throws, pins/holds, joint locks, chokes/strangles and the use of pressure points. Ju Jitsu teaches using an opponent's attacking force and direction against them. Attackers are overcome emphasizing technique as opposed to ju

st brute strength. As such the system is suitable for people regardless of size or gender. Leyton Ju Jitsu Club has been established in East London since the 1980’s, firstly at the old Leyton Baths Sports Hall before moving to its present site in Walthamstow in the early 1990's. The Clubs’ chief instructor and founder is Sensei Steve Blackett 7th Dan. The Club is part of the long standing ‘Connelly Ju Jitsu Federation’ founded by Soke Del Connelly 10th Dan who has taught Ju Jitsu all over Europe.
