Finchley Golf Club’s excellent course is only eight miles from Central London, near Mill Hill East Tube station. Finchley is proud of its reputation as one of the friendliest clubs in North London. Visitors are always made welcome. We run weekly competitions to help new members settle in. We have a committed group of ladies and a great youth section. For the more competitive golfer our golfing teams are some of the most successful in North London. Our staff will help you really enjoy yourself, both on the course and in the clubhouse. We make a point of providing a professional, friendly and hospitable service.

A Sunday at Finchley Golf Club with football royalty…

On 24th July 1966, just days before England would lift the World Cup at Wembley, some of the biggest names in English football swapped boots for golf shoes at Finchley Golf Club.

🏌️ Bobby Moore, Jimmy Greaves, Lee Lewin and Fred Nicholls heading down the 1st hole, with Jack and Bobby Charlton waiting on the green ahead.

🏌️ On the 1st tee, Lee Lewin tees off watched by Ron Springett, Gerry Byrne, Ian Callaghan, Jimmy Greaves, Ron Flowers, Norman Hunter, John Connelly and Bobby Moore.

🏌️ Bobby Charlton takes his turn on the tee, with Gordon Banks, John Connelly, Ian Callaghan, Gerry Byrne, Ron Springett, Norman Hunter and Roger Hunt among those looking on.

As the football world once again focuses on the World Cup, it’s a wonderful reminder that some of England’s greatest footballing legends spent a summer Sunday right here at Finchley, enjoying a round of golf just days before creating sporting history.

We’re hiring: Front of House Manager

Finchley Golf Club is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy clubhouse bar and help us continue delivering a warm, professional welcome to members, guests and visitors.

Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Finchley Golf Club, Frith Lane, Mill Hill, London NW7 1PU
Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per year
Benefits: Free/on-site parking and flexible schedule

We’re looking for someone with strong hospitality experience, excellent customer service skills, and confidence leading a front-of-house/bar team. Golf club experience would be a bonus, but is not essential.

🏆 Congratulations to our trophy winners! 🏆

It was fantastic to see so many members and friends enjoying the celebrations and creating such an amazing atmosphere on the terrace last weekend. The sunshine, great company, and memorable golf made it a weekend to remember.
