Teacher Bio

Kate Durrant
is an experienced dance educator who has worked with children and young people through to adult learners.
She started her career as a performer working with a variety of artists and companies such as The Royal Opera, Sol Dans Company, Turbulance Dance and Rough Cut Dance Theatre. Moving into teaching full time in 2011.
We are super excited to have Kate join our team and looking forward to her classes

There will be a local celeb paying a (Covid friendly) visit.
We are hoping to showcase all our performing arts classes, music tuition, gym and Library.

Temporary closures in England from 5th November

In line with the latest government advice, we will be temporarily closing all Better leisure centres, pools and gyms across England to support the new national restrictions from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December.
Members (including lessons and courses pupils dance, drama & music) will not be charged for any of the closure period and we will be in touch with every member to confirm we will stop your next Direct Debit in full.
For membership information and updates in England, go to Better.org.uk
We request that you make no new activity bookings after Wednesday 4th November whilst we update our booking system.
We look forward to welcoming you back in December, and should anything change we will notify you as soon as we can.
Please do bear with us during this challenging time as we look to support all our members.

Good evening
I hope you are all well.

Just a quick update from me as I know many of you are concerned about what’s happening with your classes.

Sorry I can’t give you any detailed information at the moment however please know that we are all working behind the scenes to get everything ready as soon as we can.

As soon as I have more information for you it will be posted here, the plumstead centre page and Instagram.
