Norton 3 - MyEnds 4
Norton FC's first pre-season friendly showcased both their potential and areas for improvement. The team started strong, with excellent time-keeping and a display of teamwork during warm-up. Augus's goal from a well-executed corner kick gave Norton an early lead, followed by Curtis Roberts' volley, extending their advantage to 2-0.
However, changes in the lineup disrupted Norton's control of the game, leading to missed opportunities and defensive breakdowns. MyEnds took advantage of the gap in Norton's midfield, with Tracker Roberts scoring their first goal. A stunning strike from Nathan King then equalized the score at 2-2.
At halftime, Norton's coaching staff emphasized the need for better communication and maintaining shape. The second half saw Tracka Roberts continue to trouble Norton's defense, scoring a goal to give MyEnds a 3-2 lead. Renard's tactical substitutions injected new life into Norton, with Ashly Burke equalizing the score at 3-3 after a brilliant passage of play involving Magic and T-10.
However, Tracka Roberts once again displayed his individual brilliance, scoring a left-footed curler in the last minute to secure a 4-3 victory for MyEnds.
