Well done to Eliot Chambers who won his bout tonight at the Troxy Nightclub.
It was a massive show put on by local boxing club - Broadstreet ABC, and Eliot boxed one of their boys and won on an unanimous decision by winning all 3 rounds on the Judges scorecards.
It was his 1st bout without him having to wear a head guard and he controlled the bout by working behind the double jab and landing solid straight rights to the head.
His opponent tried to draw him in but Eliot followed instructions from his Coach Derek Long and stuck to his boxing.There was not a mark on Eliot after the bout, but his opponent had a few bruises due to the solid shots Eliot was throwing.
A solid performance from Eliot. So much that club founder, the late great Tom Arscott would have been proud of.
Well done Eliot. You done the club proud and you done Tom proud.

so on your return be prepared to put in some hard training... Holidays over....time to go back to work.........

Well done Eliot who won his bout last Saturday for Honor Oak boxing club.
It was a sunny Open-air show put on by Marvels lane boxing club and he boxed well behind the jab.
He clearly won the 1st round.,let the kid back in on the 2nd then turned it round to win the last round.
Tom would have been proud. Still some work to do but he's moving in the right direction.
