How do I adjust my fitness plan to reflect my goals?
There is a difference between training for fun and training with a specific goal in mind. I remember my introduction to training and using the gym consistently. It started in my second year of uni, where I would wake up at 6am every morning to train myself or to join a gym class. I’ve always been a lover of classes, especially spin and sometimes I’d go to the gym twice a day because I couldn't get enough. I would pick any class that was available at the time I planned to go to the gym and had no real progression with my weights or training style. I only began to develop and sustain any muscle definition since learning about the power of progressive overload and applying the relevant training systems. Since training and working as a PT, I see many people who have the same story as I did; joining classes and going to the gym everyday but failing to see real results can be confusing but I'm here to show you how to make it right!
I’ve been training Sarah for about 18 months now and I originally met her as an attendee of my Step classes! When she decided to give personal training a go, she was looking to improve her strength and fitness beyond the gym classes she attended. Swipe right to read her experience.
