The National Track Relay Championships took place in Birmingham on the 23/08/2026.

TVH senior teams both took the senior 4x100m titles. The men, (Keano Paris-Samuel, Joe George, Joel Houslin and Daniel Offiah), broke a 50 year old club record that once belonged to Dave Hill, Les Hoyte, Ian Mathews and Derek Cole set at Crystal Palace on12/06/1979. They clocked a time of 39.85 seconds and took the title with Sheffield and Croydon in the other medal positions. The women (Louise Evans, Elise Modeste, Jasmine Wilkins & Kaya Slater) were popular winners in a time of 45.15 seconds only a fraction off the existing club record 45.09 seconds set in 2025 (also with Louise and Jasmine plus Bianca Williams and Sileena Farrell).

TVH's mens U18 4x100m squad (Brooklyn McMahon, Charlie Lloyd-Jones, DeJean Jarrett, Issiah Stewart-Andrew, Owen Keenlyside & Roshaun Williams) won superb bronze medals in a very close photo finish. Having won their heat in 43.34, TVH's team for the final was Charlie, DeJean, Issiah & Owen where they set a new TVH U18 club record 42.47. TVH also took bronze medals in the mens senior 4x400m (Kristian Samwell-Nash, Keano Paris Samuel, Daniel Offiah and Ricardo dos Santos) and mixed U20 4x400m (Roshaun Williams, Natasha Bennett, Maya Sutaria & Luceni Conteh). Despite the senior mixed 4x400m race being only 10 minutes after the U20 race, Maya was back involved to help teammates Julia Johnson, Tameka Cunliffe and 4x100m new club record holder, Jasmine Wilkins, who was racing her first ever 400m, to take a credible 4th place.

Congratulations to all athletes, coaches and team managers involved. It was even more impressive to put this performance together considering the NAL final was the day before and there were many athletes, coaches and team managers hard at work on both days.

There were a couple of age group club records worth noting from Saturday too:

- It was great to see Charlie Evans back to his very best, Charlie, was just 1cm short of Stefan Baldwin club record set in 1993 with 72.91m but smashed his own TVH U23 club record by over 10m.

- Kirstie Booth ran an impressive 7:03.48 in 2000m steeplechase is new V45 TVH club record bettering Victoria Carter's best.

It will be unsurprising to see many of the above names appear in the match awards below:

- Field woman of the match: Sam Callaway for a win in the shot and a close second in the discus with

- Track woman of the match: Emma Nwofor for her win in the 100 hurdles and being ready to step into the 4x100m relay too, still a team player after a busy time at both the CWG and the European Championships and on her birthday weekend!

- Club woman of the match: Lily Hulland for her incredible triple jump win and speedy 4x400m leg (yes you did read that correctly – she offered to do a 400m leg when we were short!)

- Field man of the match: Luke Lammie for his shot win and his high scoring discus performance. The French season ended weeks ago so Luke has extended his season significantly to do his bit for the team.

- Track man of the match: Joe George for a fantastic win in the 100m B string and a great 4x100m leg

- Club man of the match: Daniel Offiah for being willing to do a sprint double and relay leg last minute, this man has collected quite a points haul over the season!

They say it takes a village to win and you can see a great chunk of our village in our team photo. Thanks to every single athlete who competed over the three matches, their coaches, our incredible and hard-working officials squad, and our sports masseurs, Jade and Laurence. A special thank you must be given to our team managers Manuel Da Silva and Phil Whetton. Their dedication knows no bounds and their passion is infectious. It is no wonder we also hold the self-awarded title for having the loudest support of all the premiership teams too. Up the Valley!

It is with huge pride to announce that TVH have reclaimed their title as National Athletics League Champions for 2026. The standard of the league escalating to exciting new heights of performance but TVH athletes have brought their A game. Our longstanding rivals, Harrow AC took a narrow win on the day by 7.5 points but thankfully our previous two wins have allowed us to take the title and be headed to the European Club Championships next year!

Our team manager Manuel was so proud of the dedication of every athlete and the willingness for people to step outside their comfort zone, compete outside their usual event and chip in for the team. TVH athletes often find an extra level of performance for the team but to do this in a less familiar event is even more impressive.

This was a strong team performance and maximum points were gained in:

- Mens shot putt with Luke Lammie (15.54m) and Alfie Williams (15.04m)

- Womens high jump with Pippa Rogan (1.72m) and Jess Lee (1.68m)

- Womens triple jump with Lily and Jas Hulland (12.80m and 11.63m)

- Womens shot putt with Samantha Callaway (15.13m) and Cerys Aboagye (13.61m)

We had two A string wins and seven B string wins, a perhaps surprisingly small number but showing our depth and consistent standard performance from every single team member to allow us to still score so highly:

- Louise Evans 200m A in 23.53

- Emma Nwofor 100m hurdles A in 13.74

- Joe George 100m B in 10.80

- Elise Modeste 100m B in 11.99

- Tom Bayley 800m B in 1:54.86 PB

- Sam Clarke in the 110hurdles B in 14.78

- Michael Jordan in javelin B in 60.67m

- Eva Kutman in pole vault B with 3.83m

- Captain Sophie Mace in discus B with 46.36m

The European Championships in Birmingham were everything we'd hoped for 🤩

Here is how our the TVHxGB sub-squad got on:

🌟 Archie Yeo qualified for the LJ final with a jump of 7.92m and placed 12th in the final in his senior GB debut!

🌟 Molly Palmer jumped a LJ PB of 6.72m to qualify for the final where she placed 9th!

🌟 Muhammad Kounta took silver in the 400m in a time of 44.40! 🥈

🌟 India Weir stormed to 16th in the 5000m in her first track championships for GB!

🌟 Emma Nwofor qualified for the semifinals in the 100mH in a time of 13.04s and went on to place 6th in her semifinal!

🌟 Joel Clarke Khan qualified first in his group for the HJ final and went on to place an incredible 5th with a height of 2.23m! After a difficult few years with injury, this success is all the more sweet!

2ND IN THE SOUTHERN ATHLETICS LEAGUE - Congratulations to athletes, officials, coaches, supporters and our team managers Tash Mundell and Phil Whetton 🎉

Full report by Tash Mundell:

The final SAL match result was at Harrow on Saturday 8th August. The team fought hard with brilliant examples of team spirit and excellent performances on the track and field, with athletes covering gaps caused by injuries, illness and drop outs.

With a very narrow defeat of only 7 points we came 2nd in the match and therefore the league this year. Thank you to everybody who competed, officiated and volunteered at the SAL matches this season - especially the final match. Whilst we might not have retained our title by a brutally small margin, I’m super proud of the team, and especially everybody who dug deep, and we’ll be back with even more fire next year to get our title back!

MotM went to Sol Inglis for a brilliant set of 400s in both the individual and relay as well as kindly offering to cover a gap in the PV when we had an injury!

WotM went to Louisa Snape for her amazing team spirit all season and her can-do energy to fill any gaps even when exhausted - the final match was no exception to this!

Also well done to the league winners WSEH Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow AC for a great performance and giving us a strong battle and don’t worry we’ll be back next season to fight for the title!

Again thank you everybody who contributed to the team this SAL season. See some of you in less than 2 weeks time for the NAL final and for the rest I look forward to seeing you all next summer to fight to reclaim our title! Also a special big thank you to our coaches, officials and volunteers who we wouldn’t be able to do this without!

We LOVED supporting 8 TVH athletes at the Commonwealth Games in Scotland

Representing the Isle of Man, Regan Corrin made the final in both the high jump (10th) and long jump (10th) and even jumped a wind assisted PB of 7.84m - a great start to the week!

Angela McAuslan-Kelly qualified for the hammer throw final for Scotland with a throw of 60.43m then went on to take 11th in biblically wet conditions!

Lucy Woodward took 12th in the heptathlon as Jersey's first ever heptathlete at the Commonwealth Games with a huge PB of 5530 points with four individual event PBs to do this.

The amazing Emma Nwofor clocked 13.07s in her 100m hurdles semifinal to take 6th for England.

Molly Palmer was one of three English women to make the Commonwealth Games final with a long jump of 6.64m and then took 7th place in the final.

Thomas Walley looked like he was born for this stage and vaults 5.30m to take 5th in the pole vault for Wales.

Kaya Slater broke the native scottish 4 x100m relay record and their team took 7th in the final in front of the home crowd.

Louise Evans was called up last minute for England due to injuries and was asked to run the 4x400m relay. However, an even more last minute change led to her running in the 4x100m relay team that then qualified for the final and ended up placing 5th. Crazy versatility!
