Meet Lee, who leads empathy spaces at festivals…and the other person is me 😄😄

Having another Lee be the Empathy Angel for my Primal Play workshop at was a trippy pleasure 🌈

Such a sweet, welcoming community…and my first UK festival in 15 years!

This is mainly an ecstatic dance/contact improv festival, so it was wonderful to feel the yes to explore another form of authentic, vulnerable connection ✨

𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐨𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧

Called 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃, the idea was born out of the realisation that even with all the ta**ra and spiritual growth workshops that are available here, something big seems to be missing, at least right now, at least for us:

Spaces that allow people to share vulnerably

To listen with an open heart

And build empathic connections that extend beyond the limitations of the workshop end.

It has been beautiful to feel the offering resonate with people

with one unexpectedly fascinating outcome:

𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞.

We’ve been so curious to understand why this is

Do women already have enough spaces to share themselves vulnerably?

Is there a protection that says such spaces are not safe?

Whatever the case, in the age of the manosphere, it’s deeply touching to witness these men step forward in their desire to share openly and caringly.

Meeting each other in truth and authenticity no matter which gender they find themselves in the company of.

I believe so strongly that this is the only healthy future for masculinity.

I am incredibly honoured and excited to share that this Saturday’s anniversary edition of Primal Play will be co-facilitated by the wonderful 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧! ❤️‍🔥✨🐒

Haneen is a s*x & intimacy coach who helps people break the rules they’ve inherited around connection. Playful, heartfelt, and nerdy, she empowers clients to express their real desires, and embrace pleasure, conflict, and complex feelings as part of healthy relating. Her work blends improv, IFS, embodiment, consent, and communication tools — guiding (often driven, busy, productive) people out of their heads and into deeper, more truthful s*x and connection.

Our team will be rounded off by 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲, whose passion for and sensitivity in space-holding allows people to feel truly supported in meeting themselves and each other more authentically.

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐍 - END OF YEAR SPECIAL ✨ 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

On the Winter Solstice - the longest night of the year - we came together in openhearted presence and dared to be met in the fullness of who we are.

We felt the truth of each moment, let go of what no longer served us, and claimed what we’re calling in for next year.

Backed by the incredible soundscapes of , who took us to exquisitely deep places through his art.

For me this edition was a leap of faith, a stretch.

✨ finding the seemingly perfect musician to co-facilitate this journey three days before the event - but with no time to confirm my intuition beforehand.

✨ Stretching the budget and organisation to accommodate

✨ Bringing in new practices, new combinations, and being ready to let them all go.

It was the smoothest edition ever.

Again backed by a dream team of Sophie Yates and , an easy rhythm formed that allowed so much spaciousness and joy as we held our guests and each other.

For me - I’m stepping ever deeper into the power and beauty of this work.�

Now it’s time for me to spend Christmas with family, and new years in community.

After a short break, we'll be back with 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐍 #𝟔 🦁 on January 18th, and in February I will bring a new format to London for the first time.

This weekend I co-facilitated a circle for 30 people as part of a long community weekend.

I was again reminded of just how powerful this tool is - how essential it is that we create spaces for ourselves and each other to show up and share what’s on our heart - making the full spectrum welcome.

I can't wait to do it again for this Sunday's Embodied Sharing Circle - A Half Day Journey ⭕

If, like me, you’re following current events in the US, and the world, this week it might be especially important to provide yourself such a space.

But even if you’re not, our fast-paced living rarely allows time to slow down and process all that we’re feeling.

Having done this work in a group setting for a number of years, I will finally be launching this private offering on a new booking platform, and am filming a video to explain it.
