Open Day tasters a big hit after a huge turn out for Annual Friends Event . All sailing time slots were taken . The club volunteers took 89 persons out onto the water on BH Monday and the weather was just perfect for a relaxing sail around the lake giving non sailors a chance to steer the boat in the favourable conditions . Lots of little ones with an adult , some keen youngsters taking the helm and interest from local adults who have always wanted to get out on the lake after seeing club racing at weekends. Croydon Sailing Club,formed in 1956, before the park was opened in 1969; is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Successful Flotilla holiday organised for 13 CSC sailors
Two members had to cancel at last minute but we had enough qualified skippers to cover charter of 3 yachts and join ACTIVITY YACHTING FLOTILLA .
Fortunately the weather was fantastic with great wind on 3 out 6 days with very little motoring requiring refuel of only 20 litres. We visited new island destinations Iz and Sali differing from last years route and dolphins appeared. It was fab sailing; lots of swimming in island towns and at anchor for lunch . Good company lots of laughs; two novice sailors are now competent crew; two day skippers gained confidence to take charge of a yacht on future trips and we all had such a super holiday that we want to book for next year .

Sunday 11th June 10-4pm annual sailing regatta
Chance to sail and socialise and picnic down at the lake for members and newly trained Norwood Watersports sailors to mix and do sailing things out on the water.
We will have 16 adults just completed level 2 and another 10 from last year- some have just joined the club so a fantastic opportunity to meet the existing club members. Come on down to this get together to celebrate start of summer.
