At Basis we’re big fans of olympic weightlifting for speed, power and strength. But we also love weightlifting as a way to challenge movement patterns and learn new skills.
You’ll see weightlifting exercises, at different levels of complexity, across our Force, Work and, of course, Weightlifting classes.
In Force, our flagship strength training class, we pepper in low-complexity variations like hang power cleans.
In Work, our CrossFit / functional fitness class, we take things up a notch, working more complex variations like the power sn**ch and honing skills such as barbell cycling.
