Ever wonder why some of the meat we eat is given different names to where it originates from? As children.. we are taken to farms to see the cows and pigs, we are taught what noises they make, we are taught to love them. Why is it that we are not then taught that we are eating those pigs and cows... We are none the wiser as we are served 'pork' and 'beef' (not 'pig' and 'cow') so don't put two and two together. Maybe it's time we make the link between the farm animals and food, especially to our children so they understand the association and can decide whether they actually want to eat the pig or cow that they saw at the farm yesterday! 🐮🐷❤️
