If you’re under 17, live or go to school in Lambeth, and play (or have ever played!) any racquet sport — come and help us build the Lambeth squash team for the 2026 London Youth Games! 💪🔥

What a fantastic Grafton Squash Men’s Closed Tournament we had this weekend to end the season! 🤩🔥

A huge congratulations to Ashley Merchant for winning the tournament, beating Oli Kirkness 3-1 in a thrilling final! 🏆 Amit Goel secured third place with a strong win over James Richards, suffering then with an injury but never giving up! 💪

We witnessed great sportsmanship and fair play throughout, making for an amazing competition with lots of exciting matches.

A big thank you to everyone for helping keep to the schedule, refereeing, and to those who came down to watch the matches and stayed for the award ceremony on Saturday! It was indeed a great tournament, and such a shame we couldn’t have many more joining this time, but hopefully in future occasions.

Grafton’s High-Performance and Elite Level 3 Head Squash Coach, Marco, is excited to announce our 2024 Junior Squash Summer Courses! These fun but intensive week-long programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of squash while enhancing fitness, agility, balance, and coordination. Through drills, tactical training, match play, and analysis, your child will develop the skills to outplay, outlast, and outperform in one of the most challenging sports there is!

Grafton’s very own Jay Johnson-Hauldren with his team mate Rhys Lawlor, WIN the Boys' Doubles Under 18 Doubles Lexus National Championships in epic 6-4 6-1 style.

JUNIOR SQUASH AUTUMN TERM COURSES - LAST PLACES!

As we find ourselves heading to the start of a new season, why not guarantee a place for your children in an exhilarating all-year sport like Squash!

We are thrilled to announce our plans for the upcoming Autumn Term at Grafton Tennis & Squash Club , where we will continue offering our highly successful junior squash programmes spanning 13 exciting weeks. The sessions will take place weekly on Saturday afternoons and are open to children aged 7-18. No prior experience is required, and we warmly welcome everyone to join!

The courses will be for children aged 7-18. The sessions will be about the FUN-damentals…having fun is a must but also developing hand-eye co-ordination, agility, balance, speed and squash technique.

Rest assured, your children will be in the best of hands! Our Squash Head Coach, Marco, is an England Squash Level 3 High Performance, Elite, and County Coach, boasting several years of experience working with juniors and players of all levels. With Marco's top-notch instruction and guidance, your kids are sure to thrive on the courts.

Grafton’s High-Performance and Elite Level 3 Head Squash Coach, Marco, is putting on a Junior coaching program throughout the Spring Half-term. Book now on our intensive week junior program which will run for 3 hours per day during the week of 13th to 17th of February. Aimed to teach the fundamentals in Squash, but also provide fitness, agility, balance, and coordination development coupled with drills, tactical training, match play and analysis.

The Squash Spring Break is a great way to develop young squash players in order to outplay, outlast and outperform in Squash, undoubtedly one of the most challenging sports there is!

The programme is appropriate for players of all skills and ages. Players will be divided by their experience and also main areas of focus, aiming to strengthen their skills.
The sessions will run as follow:

Monday 13 – Friday 17 February
9.00 - 12.00pm | 7 - 17 yrs
Price | Junior Member £150 | Non-Member £ 175 | 5 days

SQUASH - JUNIORS SPRING COURSES AND OTHER GROUP SESSIONS

Grafton Squash will continue with the successful junior and other squash programmes for the upcoming School terms (January to April 2023). Sessions will run weekly on the days mentioned in the flyer attached.

Junior courses (12 weeks) are directed to children aged 7-18. No experience is required, and rackets and balls will be provided. The sessions will be about the FUN-damentals and the development of their game play…having fun is a must but also developing hand-eye co-ordination, agility, balance, speed and squash technique.

All sessions will be run by our experienced Squash Head Coach Marco Spínola, currently working within the England Squash County and high-performance players programmes.

And so, we celebrated another fantastic World Squash Day, with lots of activity and enthusiasm in our Squash courts! 🤩

In the morning we saw some of our young promises in another session of the amazing Squash Stars programme led by our Head Coach Marco and in the early afternoon we had a fantastic doubles tournament running, which saw Mike Haynes and Alex Ewan consecrate their names into the Grafton Tennis & Squash Club board of honor for prosperity! 🏆

May there be many more days like this to come but after all, at our club...every day is World Squash Day! 🥳💪⚫️
