☀️ Summer League is officially underway!

We’re off to a FLYING start in this year’s Summer League, with a fantastic turnout and some brilliant performances from our Eagles at Headstone Manor.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in the opening race yesterday, whether you were racing, supporting or providing the much needed watermelon at the end. Thanks to Metros RC, Harrow and for a great morning.

Next up is the Perivale 5 Mile, which we’re co-hosting with Ealing Southall & Middx AC on Sunday 28th June at 9:30am.

Let’s show what Ealing Eagles can do! 🦅

Running with Pride!

From the June Gunnersbury Park Handicap to our Soar With Pride social, it was brilliant to see so many Eagles out running, chatting and celebrating together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, wore their brightest colours and helped make the evening such a welcoming one.

We’re proud to stand with, celebrate and support our LGBTQIA+ members, friends and wider community every day of every month.

Running is for everyone, and everyone should feel welcome in our flock.

All welcome. Always 🌈🦅

🦅 Happy National Running Day from all of us at Ealing Eagles! 🦅

Today we’re celebrating the sport that formed our club and the people who make running in the Ealing Eagles what it is!

The runners chasing PBs. The runners taking their first steps. The volunteers, coaches, run leaders, marshals and supporters.

The friendships formed on club nights, the conversations on easy runs, the cheers on the sidelines of races, and the encouragement that keeps us all moving forward.

Running is about so much more than miles.

Here’s to every pace, every achievement, every challenge overcome, and every Eagle who helps make our club such a welcoming community!

Lots of Eagles were out at Staines 10k on Sunday. Angus Bain narrowly missed out on the win, still coming a fantastic 2nd place overall. Paul Duffy came 9th. The men’s team prize came down to a single point. Congratulations to our friends (rivals) who pipped us to it this year in a great battle!

Holly Wilkinson won the VF45 age category and came 4th woman, and Helen Rochester won VF55 and came 10th woman.

There were PBs for many of the Eagles who ran. A really well-organised and fun race. Definitely 💯 recommend. We’ll be back. The men’s team of Angus, Paul, Jake and Craig will be looking for glory next year for sure! Thanks to & for a fantastic event.

What’s the best way to recover from the you may ask? For some it is running from London to Paris 🤯! Or at least that is what Martin and Harry did over four days from Thursday, as part of a team of five with Kim, Lea and Krystal. (Should I mention that Martin had also run the week before?!)

Yes, these incredible people RAN TO PARIS with . Starting in Wimbledon, they covered 220 miles over four days led by team captain Kim.

On the final day, the team smashed through 46.5miles over 5 stages and then all met up at the final checkpoint to run the last mile together as a team... all the way to the Eiffel Tower.

Such an adventure. An inspiring challenge and a fantastic team! Now please rest up - you have earned it, you legends.
