Don’t you just love an adventure - be it short and sweet or long and luxurious? Yesterday, involved a 6+ hour round train journey from Devon to spend time with one of my special USA friends, Madelaine who was visiting London. We talked life, love and business ❤️ We oo’d and ahh’d at great art, great architecture, delicious treats and the beauty of friendship. I may feel exhausted today, but I’ve new fresh ideas and an energetic buzz that you only get from saying “yes” to opportunity ❤️ What is your next adventure? @ National Portrait Gallery

Ask for what you need/want. Much of the time we settle for what we get, but if there is something that would make life easier or better ask! Others are not mind readers 😂 We are back in the same hotel room we had in July - it was perfect in every way, so we asked ahead of our arrival, it’s like having our own place in the sun ☀️🥰

Very happy to be back in Cyprus for a week’s holiday. Soaking up every drop of gorgeousness! Just look at this sunset, it quite took my breathe away! It’s the simple pleasures in life...❤️

Fab morning yesterday, catching up with Jen of My Super Connector at Exeter’s newest cafe - Grow Cafe! ☕️Talking LinkedIn (Jen’s an expert btw!), the delights of both of us moving to Devon and 💥 growing businesses in new locations.

Working from home can feel isolating so creating community locally is so important to me - “alone we are strong, together we are stronger”.

My biggest take away from a great Social Media Workshop was not to to have my profile perfect, to just be me - not to worry about good hair days but to show up more often being utterly authentic. I guess I already knew this... but it still trips me up 😂. Being completely honest with you, I know I still worry what people will think of my messy hair or my camera nerves! How about you? Do you hold yourself back from being seen?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a workshop in Exeter, hosted by the savvy and fabulous 🤩 Katherine George of Oh So Social on behalf of Enterprise Nation and Facebook’s campaign.

Learning how social media is changing, how we can best use it in our businesses and a discussion about the effects of social media was fascinating.

Holidays always end too soon don’t they? 😂 I love those final moments of committing to my memory the beautiful green palm trees against blue sky, the heat with a cooling breeze, the sound of waves crashing in the near distance... feeling grateful for this time to rest, recharge and heal.

Good morning! These curtains give me such a happy feeling every time they open revealing the most epic of views. So much thought and care has gone into making this hotel special and a greater experience. Having only been open 3 months everything is fresh and definitely deserving of it’s 5 stars. If you’ve got a business, how can you add greater value, give the wow factor and create a memorable experience?

Oh yeah! Those spontaneous decision to make the most of being close to London and going to see a West End show! ‘Wicked’ is the show my daughter and I love - finding great seats with a big discount sweetened the deal. Our 4th time was just as magical as the first... the songs are swirling around my mind today as I sit in the hospital awaiting my rheumatology appointment. What’s your favourite show?
