Wanstead Model Flying Club Wanstead Model Flying Club is a friendly, long established model flying club based in East London, UK.

Wanstead Model Flying Club is predominately a fixed wing club although long standing members may fly helicopters & multirotors after 2 years of continued membership. As we fly on public land, all members must pass the BMFA 'A' test to fly solo. We have club instructors and BMFA approved examiners who commit much of their own time to helping others learn & progress with model aviation. We are a lon

g established BMFA affiliated club (ID: 0265) that maintains an outdoor flying site on the Wanstead flats, we also host an indoor flying event once a month. Wanstead Model Flying Club welcomes people of all backgrounds, our members are diverse and vary in age, experience & ethnicity. The club is run by an elected committee of members following the club constitution.
