I used to think
When I was young
I was made for something great
To fly the skies
To sail the seas
But I feel as of late
My story line
That once was mine
Of which the lead I take
Has gone
All topsy turvey
And I feel like a break

I want to be
The sidekick now

Call me Boo Boo
I’ll be Velma
Like the sound of that man?
We’ll still go on
Our missions too
I’ll just be in the back and

The leading role
You go get the bad man!

But if I think
About it now
I am the leading role
There is no
Monthly critic
No one to tell me no
Get up now!
Get on your feet
And get on with the show
Even if
You are the lead
You need to let them know

So I accept
The leading role
Of living in my life
I will attend
And not be late
And try to stay alive
It may not be
As I imagined
But I will survive
Once I see
