Last weekend we held a Kung fu camp in Kent and focused on developing forms and learning White Crane Kung Fu. Head Instructor Dave made a Thai red curry for lunch and we finished with a visit to the Bush, Blackbird & Thrush in East Peckham.

A late international women’s day contribution! Last weekend we held a kung fu camp in Kent and here is a video of the women who were attending performing a Yong Chun White Crane Kung Fu form. Yong Chun White Crane was founded by a woman near the end of the Ming Dynasty.

Last weekend Tiger Crane Kung Fu welcomed students to YiPin China to celebrate Christmas. As usual we had amazing food, and left feeling VERY full! It was great to have over 50 students and friends present. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year on Saturday 21st February so save the date!

Another amazing week in Yongchun, the birthplace of White Crane Kung Fu. My deepest gratitude to my master, Su Ying Han, for sharing so much of his knowledge and for giving us yet another unforgettable time, deepening our knowledge and understanding of Yongchun White Crane. We got up to some amazing things, experiencing the culture of the area. We hope to invite more people to enjoy this opportunity next year!

We are so proud to share that Instructor Maki has won a gold and bronze medal, representing Great Britain at the 2025 World Kung Fu Championships. She has now proved her excellence by winning gold medals at 2 consecutive world championships! This is a huge achievement and we are so excited to celebrate with her.
