The club runs 4 mens sides, two ladies teams & has a large youth section. The 1st XV (Griffins) was promoted for three years running from 2007/8 and finished a very respectable 3rd in their debut season in Herts/M'sex 1 (RFU level 9) in 2010/2011. They've consolidated this position in 2012/13 having reached the Middlesex Vase final twice (Winning it in 2011/12). The 2nd XV (Gargoyles), formed in t
he 2007/8 season, have played Herts/M'sex Merit League rugby for three seasons. They followed up a league and cup double in 2009/10 with another cup win and promotion up to Merit League 4 in 2010/11, then to Merit league 3 for the 2012/13 season, finishing 3rd. The 3rd XV (Gogs) - a mix of old guns & upcoming younger players - was formed in Autumn 2009, played 13 fixtures in the 2009/10 season and competed in the Merit League in 2010/11, narrowly losing in the cup final. They finished 3rd in Merit 6 in the 2012/13 season. The 4th XV (Fantastic Fours) - A side dedicated to the delights of social rugby. The Hackney Ladies (Gladies) were formed in September 2010 and had an impressive first season, losing only once and achieving remarkable growth in playing members. 2012/13 saw their 2nd season of league rugby finishing 2nd & with a possible promotion (watch this space!).
