Northwood Cricket Club Northwood Cricket Club Middlesex HA6 2NP Nurturing and developing talent is a high priority, with state of the art facilities and top coaches available.

Northwood CC is an ambitious, well established and family orientated cricket club, who have been playing at our Ducks Hill Road ground for over 143 years. With state of the art nets and practice facilities, including a bowling machine, and as of 2022 a newly laid square, with more planned improvements to the playing area over the next few years NCC is looking positively into the future. We have 5 Saturday league XI's playing in the Saracens Hertfordshire Premier League Division 2b, 6a, 10w, 11s & 12s respectively as well as a Sunday Chess Valley League Division 2 & Sunday/Midweek Friendly XI. We have a clear objective to have a open and clear pathway for colts into adult cricket with colts now part of every XI in the club. Northwood CC can also boast many other sporting events, including a renowned Cricket Week in July, a bi-annual match against the MCC, and a tour. With a great social scene throughout the year Northwood CC is the place to play or spectate. The Bar and Social activities remains key to this family club, that embraces new members and strongly encourages the camaraderie of all the sides late into the evening every Saturday and Sunday after matches. We are always actively seeking new Junior and Adult cricketers of all standards for the 2022 season. Anyone interested in playing, whether at elite team level or just for the fun & social aspect, can join our net sessions on Wednesday 6pm-7pm (Summer). Results - GW18
Well that’s it for the 2026 league season.
In the end due to a bizarre result at Ampthill the 1’s were relegated from Division 1. Playing top of the table and eventual Champions, Reed, we fell 10 runs short of an epic season defining run chase, getting relegated by 3 points from Chorleywood. Falling just short seems like the vibe of our season. Not being out played but just falling a few runs or a wicket or 2 from victory. We go down with our head held high. The club is going in the right direction. Many of the 1st XI squad are under 21 and this first time exposure to higher level cricket will only help them grow and develop. We take skills that we’ve seen the top teams in the division do, mentality and game management. We will be back soon.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick reminder that our Horse Racing Social Night is this Saturday, 29th August, we will start once all of the teams are back at the clubhouse!

We’ll have multiple races throughout the evening, with participants needed on the night, so come along, get involved and see if you can back a winner! 🏇🍻

There’ll also be food available, so whether you’re playing, supporting or just looking for something to do after the game, we’d love to see as many of you as possible back at the club.

Bring your teammates, friends and family along and let’s make a good evening of it!
