Watford Youth Sports FC Watford Youth Sports FC provides grassroots football for children from the ages of 4-18 in Watford. All are encouraged to fully participate.

All of of team including coaches and administrative team are volunteers. Watford Youth Sports FC was formed in the season 2001/02 by our founder Simon Perry, we are based at Woodside Playing Fields, Horseshoe lane, Watford

A "vision" of a Sports club that provided football and sport for all, with well meaning and dedicated volunteer's helping to run it, were the driving force behind the decision

to set up a "brand new Club" with a slightly "different approach" to Youth football. Striving to provide quality coaching for youngsters coupled with an appreciation of the needs of youngsters to enjoy their football, finishing every game with a smile on their face, looking forward to next week’s game. Our club identity is associated with fair play, sporting nature & quality coaching. Every member of our Club is a valued member, regardless of ability. We do not hold "trials" for mini-soccer players, our challenge is to develop and encourage all players to fulfill their potential and enjoy their football.

Our u11 Red team had a fantastic day today at the Watford FC training ground. They took part in the “train like a pro” session in the dome, met some of the Watford players and then took in the match at Vicarage Road. They all had a wonderful time, thank you to the coaches for organising such a great experience.

Club statement:

Following the announcement from the FA this afternoon we can confirm all grassroots matches scheduled for this coming weekend are cancelled.

This includes any friendlies, training can go ahead as scheduled.
