Luca teaches Non-Contact Boxing (proper boxing training with no sparring), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and MMA Fundamentals. Training with Luca takes place in a small but fully equipped studio, with thick judo matted area, heavy bag, double end ball, slip and maze bag. Non-Contact Boxing - stance and guard positions, footwork, basic punch techniques and combinations, pad work, bag work. Bring your gloves and wraps. BJJ - breakfalls, takedowns, groundwork techniques, guard positions, attacks, submission locks, sparring. MMA - includes above Boxing and BJJ techniques, as well as strikes with kicks, elbows and knees. Luca is a British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA) lead instructor in BJJ and MMA. He is a BJJ Brown Belt with Carlson Gracie London, which he co-founded in 2002 after training at the Carlson Gracie Academy in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro in January 2000. He is also a Non-Contact Boxing Tutor and teaches Boxing Fundamentals, having qualified with GB National Boxing Awards (England Boxing accredited). Luca has competed in MMA Amateur Competitions (KSBO in Nottingham), BJJ and Grappling, and Thai Boxing in the 1990s while training at the Lumpini II Thai Boxing Club London under Daniel Suarez, Global Vice President of WBCMT. He trained in Boxing at clubs in Crofton Park, Charlton and Waterloo in London, and the Sol Invictus Boxing Club in Italy. Italy is where Luca first started competing in Judo, reaching the level of Brown Belt at the Samurai Latina Club and training in Free Style Wrestling and two Kung Fu styles. He has trained with many established international MMA fighters, as well as cornering and acting as sparring partner during the 2000s in the UK, Italy and Hungary. Luca started his own BJJ and MMA Club in Italy in 2009, the Bulldogs Team, and he is currently sports director for Sol Invictus Boxing Club, which is affiliated with the FPI (Italian Boxing Federation).
