Most eye products come in one shade. Skin does not.

The Advanced Eye Serum reduces the appearance of dark circles through optics rather than coverage. A light-reflecting mineral complex sits at the surface and redirects light away from the hollow beneath the eye, where shadow makes the area read darker than it is.

That is all the Mattifying Moisturiser asks for, and how you spend them decides how much of it reaches your skin.

A small amount from the tube, placed directly on the face in five points. Forehead, both cheeks, nose, chin. Not rubbed between the palms first, your hands absorb product before it ever gets near your face, and what the palms take is what the skin does not get.

Start on clean skin. One pump of the Hydrating Face Serum is the calibrated dose. Press it between the palms and smooth over face and neck rather than working it in. Vitamin B3. Water-soluble, stable across a wide pH range, and compatible with nearly everything else in a routine. Those properties are why it appears so widely. They are also why it is so often added at a token level, enough to print on the front of the box, not enough to change anything on the face.

Concentration is one half of it. The vehicle is the other. Niacinamide is water-soluble, so it needs a thin, water-phase formula to carry it. Moisturisers are built around emollients and thickeners that sit on the surface, which is a different job. A serum has no such load. It absorbs in seconds and takes what it is carrying with it.
