Ironsides Women’s Rugby Welcome to Ironsides Women’s Rugby. Competitive, ambitious and sociable! We’re always on the look out for new players of all abilities and experience.

Whether you’re experienced or a beginner - if you’re into rugby or want to try something new, we want to hear from you! It doesn't matter whether you love rugby already or you are looking for something new, everyone is welcomed with open arms at Ironsides. We are a growing and super friendly squad that focus not only on enjoying the sport but our legendary social scene too! No trial is required -

you can simply come join us at training! A number of our girls hadn't picked up a rugby ball before joining us and are now running the show alongside experienced players - everyone at Ironsides will benefit from good coaching and the opportunity to thrive. Not only this, but we also have a hugely important Welfare manager on hand so you can rest assured that you'll be supported both physically and mentally. We train on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm at Ironsides Sports Club (Openview, Earlsfield) and play our matches on a Sunday.

Next up in our Player Profile series is Scarlett Cooper-Wall. Scarlett joined us from saracenswomen and, after a brief sabbatical at London Irish Women, re-joined us again last season.

As one of our player-coaches, having previously coached at the Saracens Foundation and Loughborough Uni, Scarlett brings a wealth of skill and experience to our squad.
