A court full of smiles, a few friendly rallies, plenty of laughs, and people simply enjoying being active together. Something incredible is happening across Merton — and you’re invited to be part of it!

We’ve launched the first-ever LGBTQ+ Coaching & Socials at Tennis in Merton, starting at Wimbledon Park and soon expanding to Cottenham Park! 🏳️‍🌈✨

These sessions are more than just tennis. They’re about creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community (and allies!) to express their authentic selves while enjoying the game we all love.

Expect:
☑️Group coaching tailored to your level
☑️Social tennis where good vibes come first
☑️A place to forge meaningful connections and lasting friendships — both on and off the court
☑️A celebration of fun, fitness, and community across the borough of Merton!

📌Wimbledon Park – sessions already underway
📌 Cottenham Park – launching May 9th!

Cottenham Park Schedule:
• Fridays 7:00–8:30 PM – Improver level and upwards – May 9th & 16th
• Fridays 7:00–9:00 PM – Improver level and upwards – From May 23rd onwards
🕙 Bookings open at 10 AM, one week in advance of each session.

Tennis in Merton is proud to be teaming up with the amazing South London Smashers LGBTQ+ tennis group to bring you a series of welcoming, fun, and inclusive tennis sessions, and you’re invited!

Whether you’ve been playing for years or just picked up a racket, these sessions are all about enjoying the game, meeting new people, and just being yourself in a safe, friendly space. 🌈

Here’s what’s coming up:

📍 Wimbledon Park (starting April 24)
🕖 Thursdays 7–9 PM – Social Doubles (Improvers+)
🕓 Saturdays 4–6 PM – Beginner/Improver Coaching
🕓 Sundays 4–6 PM – Social Doubles (Improvers+)

📍 Cottenham Park (starting May 9)
