Done it!
Tricky few weeks combining our handle, veneer and Re-Willow blade, but it’s working!

Looks a bit rubbish. That’s next.
First we’re taking a bunch into the nets with some proper cricketers who know what they’re doing, so you can see it’s not just me saying it works 😉

Just out the tool! Our first integral casting with high wood content and density.

It’s a big step forward, the handle is moulded as one piece elastomeric, packed with recycled rubber from electrical cables giving us flex and vibration dampening while cutting time and cost.

Production will bring a bigger curve, more bow and thicker edges.

Next is the wood veneer, then final tooling.

Re-Willow will make excellent performing cricket bats from the 90% of willow trees that is discarded at a fraction of the cost. To re-iterate, this is not for the professional game, but for the vast % of world cricket that simply cannot afford to keep up with the rising costs. Lets allow everyone the opportunity to play.

A more detailed look at how these work, samples are ready and we have 20 Beta testers ready to trial!.

The original design was produced as a modified glove back in 2015. Since then, a more applicable and ergonomic version allows these to be put in any glove that has ever been made.

Really like these, and looking forward to an official launch next season.
