It was a case of all the gear, no idea for me as we crossed one of the remote corners of East Greenland in August.

Whales, seals, sunshine & local villages greeted us as we paddled through the fjords, then we took to our feet (with our gigantic packs) over some epic boulder fields & glaciers as we conquered a route not known to have been tried since the last expedition in the 60’s. The views were mind popping, and quite possibly the only place I’ve been where 9 days on foot we didn’t meet another soul…. Even the night sky performed with some epic northern lights

My knees may never be the same again, but left longing for those mountains
