Our Junior dancers love a chance to use their ribbons at the end of class!

This encourages real freedom of movement as the dancers explore what shapes they can create with their ribbons.

All three classes performed beautifully in our Christmas show this week!

Here is Primary Ballet about to perform Walking In A Winter Wonderland to our audience of friends and family.

There wasn't a chance for a full school photo, but well done to all dancers involved!

Wishing our KBDA dancers and families a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Classes will restart on Thursday 8th January.

A speedy snap of our Primary Class!

Here they are splashing in a river and dodging some crocodiles ... simultaenously working on pointing and flexing their feet! "Flamingo Runs" are also a firm favourite, everyone loves practising balancing on one leg.

We have spaces remaining in our 2-4yr old class as well as 6-8yr olds! With our Christmas performance coming up it's the perfect time to get involved ✨️🩰✨️💕✨️

We were back to Ballet today!

Lots of fun with lots of new faces!

After a successful Primary exam session in July, our oldest dancers are now beginning their Grade 1 journey.

We still have spaces in our Tiny Dancers class (ages 2-4) and Junior Ballet (ages 6+) book your two week trial via our website! Primary Ballet (Ages 4-6) is waiting list only, please email to register your interest.

Our little bunnies hop hop hopping into the Summer Holidays! ☀️

We had a brilliant Watching Week last week with both classes showing their grown ups what we've been up to this term. 🥰

Classes restart Thursday 11th of September, for boys and girls ages 2-8 🤗

We are launching a 3rd class due to demand, and registration is open now for September! ⏰️

Both classes are enjoying our own interpretation of Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Snowflakes this term.

❄️❄️❄️

A chance for imagination to flourish, we use this music from The Nutcracker ballet to tell the story of snowflakes falling, getting wrapped up warm to stomp in the snow, make snow angels, and work as a team to build a huge snowman. This is the moment we lift up a huge snowball together!

Creative movement not only develops physical skills but social ones too, as our dancers learn to move together in space and share ideas.

Lining up for marches ... A chance to work on our coordination and supporting our skips!

Our Tiny Dancers class (ages 3-4) is full but do message or email us to join our waiting list. Lots of our dancers are collected from, and dropped back to, the nursery in the same building, as part of their nursery day.

Some of our Primary Ballet class practising their tendus! We will be working on developing the use of the feet this half term, supporting our classical walks, sautés and much more.

It's been a busy first two weeks of term as we have welcomed some new faces in both classes.

Please note Tiny Dancers (age 3-4) is now FULL however spaces remaining in Primary Ballet (age 5-7)

Wishing a Very Merry Christmas to all our KB Dance Academy family.

We had a brilliant last class of term with our Tiny Dancers and Primary Ballet classes both performing some festive routines for their families.

Looking forward to seeing you back in class in the New Year - class dates to follow soon via email.
