So proud to have graduated this week as a Level 5 Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (with Level 4 Sports Massage too) after a year of study with the amazing Jing Institute. Now for another 2 years learning as I work towards the BTEC Level 6 degree in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage, the highest level of qualification available to Massage Therapists in the UK. I might be a little crazy to be studying for a 3rd degree in my 50s but I’m so excited about the new skills and knowledge I will learn.

One of the many great things about having my new Fuse Ladder is that I can now do Garuda Sling work so this weekend I’ve been on Zoom with the wonderful James D’Silva doing his Garuda Sling instructor training. What I personally love about this work is how the sling both supports me and at the same time provides traction so I can really lift out of my joints and create space. With modern living tending to encourage compression, I’m sure most of us could do with creating some space and I know my spine absolutely loves this! Can’t wait to share some of this with my lovely clients………

Earlier this year I was absolutely delighted to be asked to contribute to a book on resolving back pain, a subject very close to my heart both personally and professionally. Something really amazing to have come out of the lockdown earlier this year😊😊😊 (and I’m going to be an author!!!).
I’m super excited that the book is going to be launched on Amazon at 12pm on Thursday 26 November. It would make such a great present for anyone dealing with this issue so please do look out for it. More info to follow!

Not sure what I’m most excited about - the fact I became certified to teach High Intensity Power (HIP) Pilates today or that I’m going to be getting my hair cut this week!

Quite grateful that my hair was still long enough to tie up though as I sweated my way though my HIP Pilates session lol! 💪💪💪
