Have you always wanted to play football on a regular basis, but are too intimidated to join a local Sunday League team or don't want to fork out cash for five-a-side on astro turf? Then this group is for you! We want to provide a place for people to play football where nobody is judged and nobody takes it too seriously. Perhaps one day we could enter the "team" into a league and be the inspiration

for a cheesy, feel-good sports film about the whole thing. All ages, any gender, and completely free and terrible! We play every Sunday from 1pm and Wednesday from 6.30pm (subject to the time of year) in East London, and every Saturday from 11am in South London. Follow us on Twitter and on Facebook for news, updates, banter and extra-curricula activities (we went paintballing one time...!)

See you then. We are now looking to create new meetups across London so let us know if you want to help organise. It's minimal effort and very rewarding. Message one of the admins if you want to set up a new group, ideally in North West, South East or anywhere that isn't covered by an existing group.

Hey everyone! We have some exciting news.

Terrible Football will be starting back up in June!

We will need new volunteers to help run the sessions and help with equipment. If you would be keen to help run one of our locations that would be great! Please just shoot us a private message with some info about you and the location you could support!

We are excited to see all of the old faces and new starters!

Hi everyone! We have received a ton of messages lately from new joiners as well as old and just wanted to say HI!

Although I’m trying my best, I am not in a place to answer all of your questions right now(sorry) but will be giving you all a run down closer to June when we have answers ourselves!
We will also start a countdown to get everyone pumped for free, fun footy again!

Thanks for your patience, we just want the games to be as safe as possible and have as many joiners as we can.

Thank you all for understanding! We are super excited too!

Some points that may answer your questions:
1. Games are held on Saturday and Sunday depending on location
Times are usually 1030 and 130 depending on location

2. Mid week games are run in the summer at some locations and are usually Wednesday or Thursday at 6/630 depending on sunset times.

3. Everyone is welcome! That means every skill level, gender, sexuality etc. Just gotta be over 18!

4. We are stickers on positive attitude and inclusivity during the games. No one gets upset if we miss a pass.... or the ball altogether! Skills vary from old semi-pro players all the way to never kicked a ball. We weren’t fibbing when we said inclusive lol

5. We have a meet up page. Log into www. meetup .com and search Terrible Football. We have tons of info on there!
