What started as a simple ambition — to create a safe and welcoming place for LGBTQ+ people and allies to play football — has grown into something much bigger.

Proud Baggies FC is an inclusive community football club connected to West Bromwich Albion through the multi-award-winning Proud Baggies LGBTQ+ Supporters’ Group.

Working alongside West Bromwich Albion, The Albion Foundation and Sandwell Council, we’re using football to challenge discrimination, create opportunities and build a community where everyone feels they belong.

And we’re only getting started.

🌍 Our journey towards EuroGames Cardiff 2027.
