Blackheath Wanderers Football Club is looking for committed players aged 30+ to join our men’s squad for the new season.

We will be competing in 30+ games and cup fixtures, so we are after reliable players who can perform at a good standard and are ready for a proper season of football.

Following the recent Annual General Meeting of the Blackheath Wanderers Sports Club, we are pleased to announce that 3 Vets individuals elected to the committee board:

- Matt Harvey Harvey: Chairman
- Dave Gwinnell Gwinnell: Secretary
- Chris Anderson: Ground Manager

We extend our sincere congratulations to them and express our enthusiasm for their new roles.

HALL HIRE - BWSC

Our clubhouse is available to hire for parties, wedding receptions and functions and equipped with a fully-licensed bar and a kitchen. The hall is available for hire seven days a week, with outdoor space that can be utilised.

FACILITIES
Fully licensed bar, and a hall with capacity for up to 150 people for a standing reception and 80 people for a seated dinner
Use of sports fields (Subject to availability)
DJ and decorating services available (via our 3rd Party Vendors)
Fully functional kitchen and service area
Stereo music system with connectivity to phones and tablets
Projector available for large screen viewing
Off-street parking for approximately 50 cars

The first cup of the season and BWFC Vets won The Ethel Wilkins memorial trophy on Saturday.

This cupwas created 10 years ago and means a lot to the Wilkins family as it’s a tribute to the late Ethel Wilkins who sadly passed away in 2012.

Her grandson who idolised her and has a large involvement in grassroots football decided to create a trophy were teams can battle for a trophy.
