Augsburg delivered another thrilling weekend of world-class canoe slalom as the third ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup of 2026 came to a close.
European athletes once again dominated the podiums, winning 20 of the 24 medals awarded (83.3%) across the eight medal events.
Gold medals were shared between six different nations:
Czechia – Jakub Krejčí (K1 Men) & Tereza Kneblová (Kayak Cross Women)
Germany – Ricarda Funk (K1 Women & Kayak Cross Individual)
Italy – Raffaello Ivaldi (C1 Men)
Great Britain – Joseph Clarke (Kayak Cross Men)
Spain – Manuel Ochoa (Kayak Cross Individual Men)
Three World Cups into the season, the depth of European canoe slalom continues to shine, with different nations stepping onto the top of the podium every weekend:
Slovenia dominated Tacen
Czechia led Prague
Augsburg saw victories shared across the continent
