LSE Swing Dance Society The only student-run, student-focussed swing dance society in Central London. Classes every Monday! If you love music and dancing, this is the place to be.

We provide extremely good value weekly classes right in the centre of London with world-renowned teachers Tom Kerwin and Angela Andrew. You will take part in learning styles including Jazz, Lindy Hop and Charleston, as well as social nights at other dance venues in London, and our own parties. This is the perfect way to get fit, meet lots of new faces, and danc

e to brilliant music. LSE classes are normally smaller than most other classes in London, providing extra contact time and a very friendly environment to learn. Classes are normally 2 and a half hours long with a little social dancing after and often a few drinks. Our classes cater to both beginner and intermediate levels of dancer. Prices are:
Members: £4.50 per class
Non-member UoL students: £6.00 per class
Non-students: £8 per class.

Thank you to everyone who came to our End of Term Christmas Swing! We are so glad to have you and we hope you all had a lovely night with us.

1. When will classes be held?
Classes commence on Tuesday 15 October and will be held every Tuesday thereafter at SU 6th Floor Studio.

2. What time will classes be held?
We will begin at 18.30 and finish at 21.00, you are more than welcome to join us midway if you wish to!
We usually start the first hour with Jazz steps (solo dance), during the second hour we'll move onto couple dancing and finish with social dancing!

3. Do I need to bring anything?
Yes, just bring yourself! (and some water of course). You don't require special swing dancing shoes for these classes, just wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

4. I'm interested, what do I need to do before classes start?
You need to buy membership to Swing Dance membership from the LSESU website, associate memberships are also available online (although if you are having any problems, please contact us ASAP! We'll be happy to sort it out).

Each class is
Members: £6.0 per class
Non-member UoL students: £8.0 per class
Non-students: £10.0 per class

Unfortunately we don't have a payment system set up online so you usually bring in cash and hand in the payment during the classes.
