Your teaching style 💚
My teaching style is unique. I think what’s really important is to look at each and every person in front of you as an individual and you look at what’s going on and it’s like a jigsaw.
It’s my job to work out exactly what each person needs and it always is unique to each person.
The Reformer equipment is just a tool and it’s about knowing what is good to do and what isn’t good to do and that’s something I’m very good at teaching.
You can move safely, exercise safely and with a combination of the breath, the good posture, the strengthening in a safe way, learning strong, safe foundations with your body with both the matwork and the equipment such as the Reformer, it can be an absolutely winning formula.
Of course it’s wonderful if you can help someone eradicate pain which I help people do countless times.
But still having that joy and happiness in movement and knowing that each and every lesson you can get stronger.
Also, I sprinkle in the stress to calm tools. You learn breathing techniques, positive affirmations, journalling and many other stress to calm tools which are one minute long, fast and effective.
It’s fun to teach, it’s precise, quality teaching and safe. It’s a journey, one that’s wonderful at every age and fitness level, from the beginner, those who’ve never been into exercise or hated PE at school to the regular gym goer, runner or England Rugby player or Footballer (I’ve taught all of these!!)
