Wow! 7 years ago today - I remember this day well.

Congratulations to Alastair who passed the 12th Student Grade this evening! Pictured here with some of the team. Alastair started training in 2007, and has been with Purley Wing Chun since the beginning. For over a year now Alastair has been training nearly 5hrs a week of class and private lessons. All the hours are paying off with an excellent standard of forms, chi-sau and lat-sau

90% of my classes always run way over time, partly because I have the freedom to, but mostly because I love what I do, and never lose sight of how far I've come & how much further there is to go. Every teacher needs successors, and I take comfort in knowing that one day my students will carry the flag for further generations to come 🙏
