I've trained as a coach, I've taught for more than 30 years and I've read much and continue to read about coaching. I have to say Elena Aguilar is an amazing coach. I only know her from her books, her videos and her posts. But if I was going to hire a coach for a school, Elena and her team would top my list. Truely an inspiration.

To improve my coaching skills, I am always looking for interesting new books or courses. I discovered an unusual place to learn.

Studying tango was one of the best learning experiences, I can recall. Tango is an amazing dance. Like they say, "It takes two to tango." In that twosome you learn to be present to another. You become aware of the dynamic of leading and following. I know as I learned to follow, on some level I was leading as well.

Coaching is very much like tango. A coach that is wise , follows her client and knows that the following is an amazing way to lead.
