Purple Turtle Diving provides PADI and EFR training in the UK and abroad. We specialise in training small groups so every participant has ample access to instructors. Our courses range from entry level kids courses to deep technical training, instructor courses and first aid courses.

Would you know what to do if someone suddenly collapsed, stopped breathing or suffered a serious injury?

In an emergency, the actions taken in the first few minutes can make a vital difference. CPR, AED and first aid training gives you the confidence and practical skills to step forward and help when it matters most.

We’re offering two course options this September and October:

❤️ **CPR and AED** – a practical one-evening course
🩹 **Adult and Child Emergency Care** – a comprehensive course held over two evenings or one full day

Your instructor, Toni, has been a first aider for over 30 years, a first aid instructor for more than 20 years and an instructor trainer for over 15 years. She also currently works as an Emergency Care Assistant for the ambulance service, bringing extensive real-world experience to every course.

We also provide on-site first aid training for companies and organisations, including HSE First Aid at Work training.

🛟 Lifeguard CPD at Vobster 🛟

A lovely change of pace today, delivering monthly CPD training for the team at Vobster — with plenty of laughs along the way! 😁

Their monthly CPD is offered to managers and lifeguards and covers different aspects of water safety, alongside essential first aid and CPR practice, keeping skills fresh and confidence high.

While primarily looking after swimmers, the lifeguard team are also keeping an eye across the water for anyone in difficulty, including divers in distress.

A really enjoyable session with a great bunch of people — and reassuring to know there’s such a well-practised team looking out for everyone using the water. 💙

🤿 Back in the water! 🌊

Today we had the pleasure of running a refresher for a father and son who were returning to diving after a substantial break.

We started in confined water, working through plenty of key skills and giving them time to get comfortable and rebuild their confidence before heading out for two dives.

They both did brilliantly — upbeat, friendly and a real pleasure to spend the day diving with. It’s always great to see divers finding their feet again after some time away and getting back to enjoying being underwater! 😊

A big thank you as well to the fantastic team, Stephen Lawes, Marie Honeyman and all of the staff at Vobster Quay Inland Diving Centre, who helped make the day run so smoothly. Days like this are very much a team effort, and we couldn’t do it without you! 💙

Well done to you both — we hope this is the start of plenty more diving adventures! 🤿🌊

What a great weekend!! Huge congratulations to Martin and Dave for completing their SDI Solo Diver course today in refreshing 7 degree water! There were some temperature related skill challenges, but Dave and Martin conquered these with great determination. 😁 Well done!

Also had a fab oxygen administration refresher with some of the Vobster Quay Lifeguards yesterday. Well done Matthew and Emily!
