Great deal being offered by Wreck and Cave on reg servicing!

As the dive season draws to a close, you might not be stopping diving completely, but you'll probably slow down a bit - even if it's the weather making you do it.
That seems like a good opportunity to get those fizzes and gurgles fixed in your regulators, or even just give them the annual service. They're hopefully all salty by now anyway, and have lost their showroom shine.

I'm offering a servicing bundle deal on twinset regulators, plus one stage regulator.

We'll service your Halcyon or Apeks twinset regulators, plus one stage regulator for a bundle price of £300. If you want to add a second stage regulator, then you can add that for only £100 more. That's a good deal in anyone’s book, and perfect for this time of year.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Anne, Zara and Hannah, who successfully completed their RLSS UK Open Water Lifeguard qualification today!

They worked incredibly hard throughout the course, supported one another brilliantly—and shared plenty of laughs along the way!

A big thank you to Elijah from Taylor Training for coming along to assess everyone, including Toni, who also successfully requalified for another two years.

Well done, all! 👏🌊

Would you know what to do if someone suddenly collapsed, stopped breathing or suffered a serious injury?

In an emergency, the actions taken in the first few minutes can make a vital difference. CPR, AED and first aid training gives you the confidence and practical skills to step forward and help when it matters most.

We’re offering two course options this September and October:

❤️ **CPR and AED** – a practical one-evening course
🩹 **Adult and Child Emergency Care** – a comprehensive course held over two evenings or one full day

Your instructor, Toni, has been a first aider for over 30 years, a first aid instructor for more than 20 years and an instructor trainer for over 15 years. She also currently works as an Emergency Care Assistant for the ambulance service, bringing extensive real-world experience to every course.

We also provide on-site first aid training for companies and organisations, including HSE First Aid at Work training.

📅 Sign up for one of our September or October courses today. If the advertised dates don’t work for you, please get in touch—we’re happy to arrange additional dates where possible.

Message us for more information, course dates or to reserve your place.

🛟 Lifeguard CPD at Vobster 🛟

A lovely change of pace today, delivering monthly CPD training for the team at Vobster — with plenty of laughs along the way! 😁

Their monthly CPD is offered to managers and lifeguards and covers different aspects of water safety, alongside essential first aid and CPR practice, keeping skills fresh and confidence high.

While primarily looking after swimmers, the lifeguard team are also keeping an eye across the water for anyone in difficulty, including divers in distress.

A really enjoyable session with a great bunch of people — and reassuring to know there’s such a well-practised team looking out for everyone using the water. 💙

🤿 Back in the water! 🌊

Today we had the pleasure of running a refresher for a father and son who were returning to diving after a substantial break.

We started in confined water, working through plenty of key skills and giving them time to get comfortable and rebuild their confidence before heading out for two dives.

They both did brilliantly — upbeat, friendly and a real pleasure to spend the day diving with. It’s always great to see divers finding their feet again after some time away and getting back to enjoying being underwater! 😊

A big thank you as well to the fantastic team, Stephen Lawes, Marie Honeyman and all of the staff at Vobster Quay Inland Diving Centre, who helped make the day run so smoothly. Days like this are very much a team effort, and we couldn’t do it without you! 💙

Well done to you both — we hope this is the start of plenty more diving adventures! 🤿🌊
