LOWER BACK AND/OR HIPS HURTING? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do your warm ups consist of swinging your legs around and bending your knees a few times?

SAVE THIS POST for your next squat day ✌🏻

🚗 Hip CARS - both legs, both directions, keeping your belly button pulled in, hips as square to the floor as you can and not arching your lower back. 5 each leg, each direction

🦵🏻90/90 Forward Kicks - working internal and external mobility & activation. These get hard - go for 5 each side

🦩 Elevated Flamingos - start bodyweight to begin and add a weight to progress. 5-10 each side holding at the bottom of each rep

⤵️ Internal hip rotations - activate not only your external rotators (as you would have heard in previous posts) - but the internal too! 5-10 each side with a hold at the top of each rep

Comment below any issues you have when it comes to your back and hips and let’s see if I can help!

Can squat 50kg but can’t do a lunge with 20kg? 🤔

Sound similar?

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve worked with in this position.

It’s so great getting into strength training - and it’s essential for everyone BUT, if you haven’t got the functionality, continuing on and ignoring the problems will likely lead to injury

What movements or imbalances do you struggle with? Let me know in the comments ⬇️
