During the centuries Vietnamese suffered many attacks of Chinese and Mongol armies. They were fighting for independence even in our times – first, with French colonist, later with the army of USA. That’s why the martial arts are so important for the culture of this country. Since the XI century there was an academy (or university) of martial arts in the capital, Thang Long city (today's Hanoi). Al

so Vietnamese martial arts were taught in “family” schools. Because of historical difficulties it is hard to say exactly when this martial art was founded and who the first founder of it was. For the first time Nhat-Nam was mentioned in the sources of 13-14 centuries. For the long time only few people new the secrets of this original martial art. In 1980 enthusiasts of martial arts had an opportunity to get acquainted with this ancient school of martial arts – the head of the school, professor Ngo Xuan Binh organized the first demonstrations and seminars, also wrote books and articles on Nhat-Nam. In 1990 members of the school were invited to Minsk, later to Moscow. In 1991 the head of the school professor Ngo Xuan Binh and his disciple master Tran Phu Cu visited Lithuania. In 1994 the first Lithuanian club “Nhat-Nam” was founded in Vilnius. Now there are four clubs in different regions of Lithuania. In 1999 Lithuanian Nhat-Nam federation was established. We try to develop not only martial aspects of Nhat-Nam, but we are also interested in sports and healthiness fields. Every year we organize summer camps, seminars and exams. Also our disciples celebrate different festivals together and have creative activities. Nhat-Nam is original martial system, which can not be confused with any other school of martial arts.

It is with deep sadness and shock that we share the news that the head and coach of the London NHAT-NAM Federation tragically passed away yesterday afternoon in Trakai, Lithuania.
He was not only an outstanding leader and coach, but also a talented osteopath, with a rare ability to understand the body and help others heal. He was also a stuntman- courageous, strong, and deeply committed to everything he did.
Above all, he was a loving father of three, a devoted husband, a brother, and a close friend to so many.
His energy, kindness, and generosity of spirit touched countless lives, far beyond sport or profession.
He built more than teams or a practice- he built a community. He inspired, supported, believed in people, and was always there when it truly mattered.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife, his children, his family, his friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him🙏.

He will be profoundly missed.

What an amazing Sunday we had!!! ⚡️💪👏

On the 7th of July Nhat Nam instructors Vladislavs Filipovs and Adomas Miklys took part in National Sanda championship and their both won medals
In weight category under 85kg Vladislavs won silver medal🥈while Adomas in weight category under 70kg won bronze 🥉.
Congratulation to both of them🎖🎉

Big thank you for those who were there and supported us Anastasija Voitova and Frederic Bleach and for all others who were thinking about us and believing in us.

One more to remember.
#2016 Peterborough championship series. It was a first time Nhat Nam took a part in martial art competition🥊 in United Kingdom. On the mat getting ready to perform tiger Quen.
Unfortunately on that day Marius won 4th place🏅 in this category and a 1st place🥇 in light continuous sparring. It always nice to remember our victories🎉🏆.
