Experience Kandyan Dance - August Workshop Series ☀️

Our third and final session focused on breaking away from what we’re used to in Kandyan sequences - we learnt how to break patterns, avoid repetition, mirroring and with this creative Kandyan choreo!

Our first session focused on the foundations of Kandyan dance - posture, basic steps, mirroring, repetition and working together in formations.

It was wonderful to welcome new dancers and see everyone challenging themselves, learning and enjoying the process.
