Alfie Lloyd has agreed a new contract at QPR.

The 23-year-old forward โ€“ who arrived from Yeovil Town five years ago โ€“ extends his stay in west London after putting pen to paper at the TSG Training Centre.

Lloyd spent the 2025/26 season on loan before returning to Rangers in the summer, making his mark in pre-season with a hat-trick in our 7-0 win at Bromley.

โ€œIโ€™m really happy to have signed it,โ€ he said.

โ€œThis is where I want to be for my long-term future and Iโ€™m just excited to keep going, keep doing what Iโ€™ve been doing and repay the faith thatโ€™s been shown in me.

โ€œI enjoy every day here and itโ€™s the best place for me to develop as a player and as a person.โ€

Lloydโ€™s loans last campaign came at Leyton Orient and Lincoln City, where he helped the Imps clinch promotion to the Championship.

Reflecting on his success at Sincil Bank, he said: โ€œIt was definitely very special. I probably developed more as a person than I ever have in a year.

โ€œIt was obviously great to celebrate promotion but I also learned a lot of lessons.

โ€œI feel like a different player now, a different person, and more ready for whatโ€™s to come.โ€

Now back home, Lloyd is looking forward to resuming his relationship with the Rโ€™s faithful.

โ€œThe fans have always been really good to me,โ€ he said. โ€œTheyโ€™ve shown me loads of love and
Iโ€™m really grateful for the belief that theyโ€™ve shown in me.

โ€œI love playing in front of them, home and away, so I just hope I can do it for a long time.โ€

QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: โ€œAlfie didnโ€™t get the number of minutes that he was hoping for out on loan in two spells last season, but he returned to pre-season in June with an exemplary outlook - seeking to answer the following question on a daily basis: โ€˜How can I contribute the maximum possible on the pitch and off of it for the good of the team and for my own development?โ€™

โ€œOn the pitch, his hold-up play, ability to repeat high speed runs and shot placement have all improved in recent months too.

โ€œItโ€™s a pleasure to continue the journey with him.โ€
