This summer, football goes global at The Winns Primary School! 🌎

The KDW World Cup 2026 is a unique 5-week football tournament where every player will represent a nation, take part in weekly World Cup fixtures and play their way to our spectacular World Cup Finals Day!

From the excitement of the Official World Cup Draw to lifting the trophy, every session is packed with football, teamwork, confidence building and unforgettable memories.

Celebrating an Inspirational Mother, Mentor & Leader this Mother’s Day

Today, we celebrate not only a phenomenal coach, but a truly inspirational mum—Coach Shannon—as she shares a proud moment with her daughter, who collected her Player of the Day award for her football team on this very special Mother’s Day.

Shannon isn’t just a Holiday Club Director—she’s a driving force behind our mission to break barriers for women and girls in sport. As KDW’s Women’s & Girls’ Sports Leader, she has led from the front—guiding her borough team to girls’ football championship gold and helping secure victory at the Year 3 & 4 borough Tri-Golf finals. Her commitment to excellence, empowerment, and community is unmatched.

This image captures everything KDW stands for: family, leadership, and the power of sport to inspire across generations. From grassroots to gold medals, Shannon shows that with passion, support, and belief, anything is possible—on and off the pitch.
